Chairman of Bangladesh Internet Governance Forum (BIGF) Hasanul Haque Inu congratulated Mohiuddin Ahmed, the newly appointed chairman of the Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission (BTRC) office in a courtesy meeting. The newly appointed BTRC Chairman said that apart from BIGF, all kinds of cooperation from his organization in the development of sustainable Internet governance management, BTRC has been providing all kinds of cooperation in the development of Internet governance management since 2009. It will continue in the future.
BIGF Executive Committee Vice Chairperson AHM Bazlur Rahman and Secretary General Mohammad Abdul Haque Anu were present during the courtesy meeting. Brigadier General Mohammad Khalil-ur-Rahman, Director General of the Systems and Services Department of BTRC and Director General of Engineering and Operations Department Brigadier General Kazi Mustafizur Rahman participated in the discussion with the BTRC Chairman on possible plans for the development of internet governance in the country.
During the courtesy meeting, the BTRC Chairman requested to include in an action plan for the next year, preparation for participation in national, regional, and international meetings of Internet Literacy, Summit of the Future, Global Digital Compact, dot Bangla, and Internet Governance Forum.

বিটিআরসি চেয়ারম্যানের সাথে বিআইজিএফ চেয়ারপার্সনের সৌজন্য সাক্ষাৎ
বাংলাদেশ টেলিযোগাযোগ নিয়ন্ত্রণ কমিশনের (বিটিআরসি) কার্যালয়ে সৌজন্য সাক্ষাতে বিটিআরসির নবনিযুক্ত চেয়ারম্যান মো. মহিউদ্দিন আহমেদকে ফুলেল শুভেচ্ছা জানান বাংলাদেশ ইন্টারনেট গভর্নেন্স ফোরাম (বিআইজিএফ)-এর চেয়ারপার্সন হাসানুল হক ইনু ।
নবনিযুক্ত বিটিআরসি চেয়ারম্যান বিআইজিএফ ছাড়াও টেকসই ইন্টারনেট গভর্নেন্স ব্যবস্থাপনা উন্নয়নে স্বীয় প্রতিষ্ঠানের তরফ থেকে সব ধরনের সহযোগিতার কথা জানিয়ে বলেন, ইন্টারনেট গভর্নেন্সের ব্যবস্থাপনা উন্নয়নে ২০০৯ সাল থেকে বিটিআরসি সব রকম সহযোগিতা করে আসছে। ভবিষ্যতেও তা অব্যাহত থাকবে।
বিআইজিএফ নির্বাহী কমিটির ভাইস চেয়ারপার্সন এএইচএম বজলুর রহমান এবং সেক্রেটারি জেনারেল মোহাম্মদ আব্দুল হক অনু সৌজন্য সাক্ষাৎকালে উপস্থিত ছিলেন।
দেশের ইন্টারনেট গভর্নেন্স উন্নয়নে সম্ভাব্য ভবিষ্যৎ পরিকল্পনা নিয়ে বিটিআরসি চেয়ারম্যানের সঙ্গে আলোচনায় অংশ নেন বিটিআরসির সিস্টেম অ্যান্ড সার্ভিসেস বিভাগের মহাপরিচালক ব্রিগেডিয়ার জেনারেল মোহাম্মদ খলিল-উর-রহমানক এবং ইঞ্জিনিয়ারিং অ্যান্ড অপারেশন বিভাগের মহাপরিচালক ব্রিগেডিয়ার জেনারেল কাজী মুস্তাফিজুর রহমান।
সৌজন্য সাক্ষাৎকালে বিটিআরসি চেয়ারম্যান আগামী এক বছরের একটি কর্মপরিকল্পনায়, ইন্টারনেট সাক্ষরতা, সামিট অফ দা ফিউচার, গ্লোবাল ডিজিটাল কম্প্যাক্ট, ডট বাংলা এবং ইন্টারনেট গভর্নেন্স ফোরামের জাতীয়, আঞ্চলিক এবং আন্তর্জাতিক সভা সমূহে যোগদানের জন্য প্রস্তুতি গ্রহণ সংক্রান্ত বিষয়গুলি অন্তর্ভুক্ত করার জন্য অনুরোধ করেন।
