Kaliganj Upazila of Satkhira district celebrated the 10th anniversary of National daily Amar Sangbad with colorful arrangements. This event was held on Thursday March 9, at 5 pm in the conference room of Radio Naltar under the overall management of Kaliganj upazila representative of Daily Amar Sangbad Salim Shahriar.

NThe 10th founding anniversary of national daily Amar Sangbad was celebrated under the chairmanship of Satkhira district representative of Amar Sangbad Kazi Nasiruddin. Adviser of Nalta Sharif Press Club Dr. Abul Fazal Mahmud Bapi was present as the chief guest at the foundation anniversary ceremony. Nalta Sharif Press Club President Moniruzzaman Mahasin, Nalta Hospital Prosthetic In-Charge Md Jasim Uddin, Debhata Press Club President Mir Khairul Islam, Kaliganj Press Club President Saiful Islam Safu, General Secretary Sukumar Dash Bachchu, National Journalist Association President Hafizur were present as special guests. Rahman Shimul, Kaler Kantha Senior Representative Ahmad Ullah Bachchu, Drishtipat Representative Md. Rafiqul Islam, Media Worker Lecturer Sheikh Al-Azad, Women Journalist Rashida Akhter, Media Worker Sabbir Hossain, Radio Naltar News Producer Md. Rabiul Islam and civil society representatives.

The program started with discussion meeting and cake cutting moderated by Kaliganj upazila representative Salim Shahariar of Daily Amar Sangbad. Speakers at the event said, “Daily Amar Sangbad newspaper has stepped down in 11 years. Since its inception, my newspaper has continued its steady journey to build Bangladesh in the spirit of the liberation war. The newspaper has confirmed its position in bravery in publishing accurate news in favor of freedom, sovereignty and liberation war. Among the national daily newspapers that are currently being published in the country, Daily Amar Sangbad is ranked 8th out of the top 10 newspapers. Not only that, the reader has been able to gain a place in the society. We wish them to continue this trend in the coming days and congratulate all the journalists including Hashem Reza, the editor of this magazine on the occasion of Establishment anniversary.

In the program, Kaliganj upazila representative Salim Shahariyar composed the song Sat Nirbhibastu Nithsa Sangad on the occasion of the founding anniversary.
