Kaliganj Upazila Nirbahi Officer Rahima Sultana Bushra said in the discussion meeting of Livestock Nutrition Service Week Day, we all need food to sustain life. By consuming food, the body is nourished and health is good. So for a healthy life people need to take healthy nutritious food. take food with the understanding of nutrients. Moreover, it is necessary to pay extra attention to the food list for disabled students. That’s why they have to keep them healthy by understanding their nutrition. He said these things at the discussion meeting of Animal Husbandry Department’s Nutrition Service Week Day at Nalta MJF Special Handicapped School in Kaliganj Upazila on Thursday.
Upazila Executive Officer Rahima Sultana Bushra spoke as the chief guest under the chairmanship of Alhaj Anishuzzaman Khokon, donor member of the school and president of Nalta Union Awami League. Dr. Utpal Roy, Veterinary Surgeon of Upazila Animal Resources Department was the special guest. Azharul Islam, Executive Director of MJF gave a welcome speech.
Among others present were SALOs Mujibur Rahman and Rabiul Islam of Livestock Department, LSP Sudam Sarkar, LEO Dr. Al-Mamun Jewel, LFA Shantanu, MJF Treasurer Retired Teacher Mohr Ali, Assistant Teacher and Debhata Press Club President Mir Khairul Alam, Teachers Ariful Islam, Arif Hossain, Saddam Hossain, Xenia Mehrun, Umme Shakhwa Sharmin Rani, Rahima Khatun, Shahinur Rahman etc.
The entire program was moderated by teacher ATM Shah Alam Siddiqui Shaheen. After the ceremony, Kaliganj Upazila Nirbahi Officer Rahima Sultana Bushra personally fed nutritious food (eggs) to the students of Nalta MJF Specially Handicapped School.
